I've tried mango sticky rice before (a looooong time ago!) and all I can remember is that they make it with coconut milk. I don't have any recipes for it - sorry! But I hope yours turns out well - let us know how it goes!! The thai beef sounds good - can't wait for the recipe!!

just prepare the sticky rice as instructed (in a steamer) and then get some canned coconut milk, heat it up to medium high and dissolve about 1/2c sugar into it with a bit of salt to taste. add more sugar to make it as sweet as you want. pour that over the cooked rice, stir and let it sit for lik 20 minutes and serve with your mango.

you can also take like 2tbs of coconut milk and heat that up till it thickens to a cream and put it over your cooked coconut sticky rice.

Yum! My mum's made me mango with sticky rice before and I love it ! Don't you think it's a weird combination though ? Like, who on earth thought of putting the two together ?
