Is there anyone else out there besides me who is obsessed with this chili sauce? I have been using the Huy fong sriracha hot chili sauce or "rooster" sauce for almost 6 years now. I put it on everything, and have noticed that some chain grocery stores are now carrying it on the asian food aisle. I still get mine at the mom and pop asian markets, its cheaper that way and i am supporting local businesses.
I use it for sauces, on salads, pizza, dip fries in...........its amazing stuff.

Yep, been using this since I was a little kid! And I don't think the packaging has changed once since then.
I love it. It really is good on, like, everything.
Have you tried Korean kochujang? (I don't know if I'm spelling it right.) It's got a slightly sweeter and more smoky flavor, and it's great to cook with.
1I'll have to look for this 'cause I likes it hot.
2No Jude, but i will look for it!
I have three bottles of this stuff. One for home, one for work, and one at my sister in laws house because we eat there every sunday!
3That's awesome! What kind of recipes do you use it in? I like to substitute it for whatever other hot sauce a recipe calls for.
4love it....I use it all the time!
5Loooooooooove it! Have a bottle at home and one at work
6My mom and brother LOVES this stuff! I personally LOVE ketchup.

I use it when i make Red Curry.
I also use it in a "hot" salad dressing recipe. Olive Oil, Sriracha, Minced garlic, black pepper.
My hubby makes "rooster" wings, substituting the franks with this. or adds it to the franks.
8I mix it with mayonnaise and use it as a sauce with crab cakes and asparagus....I always dump it all over my Chinese food
9CG, I LOVE this sauce. LOVE. I cannot overstate how much I like this stuff. Hehe!
I fell in love with it at a Vietnamese restaurant in Austin and I use it all the time....I love it on my favourite dish called "bun thit nuong cha gio" with this drizzled over the top with fish sauce...o...m..g. Good with the spring rolls too (the chilled soft kind).
To make really delicious little spicy crab sushi rolls, I just use this with Japanese mayo, and fresh white crab (not canned, must..find..fresh!)...let it chill while you make the rice, roll em up and YUM...so lovely!
I actually used some tonight in my meatloaf recipe, I always make the sauce really spicy.
10Other uses:
Great for a quick dish ..scrambled eggs, grilled thinly sliced onions, flat rice noodles, I use that along with Squid brand fish sauce (better than it sounds hehe) and some lime juice to season, sort of Thai-"ish" dish, toss and serve.
Anytime you use BBQ sauce or ketchup to heat things up more (I always use it in my meatloaf as I commented on above)
Drizzle it on pizza
Spicy tomato soup, etc.
11shadow its SOOOOO good on meatloaf!
And i love squid brand fish sauce! so funny.
12Oh yes - we always have bottle of this stuff in our frdge. I like to put in soups to give them an extra kick!
I am totally using it on my next meatloaf - thanks for the idea!
13This stuff is so freakin' good! I think it goes faster than any other condiment in our house.
14If i could replace my blood with Rooster Sauce, i would...is that creepy?
15You'd give any vampires who bit you a spicy surprise!
16A YUMMY spicey suprise

18Hahaha jude, can u imagine the Head Line?
" I Vant to suck ur....Rooster Sauce?" Ha!
19LOL!!
What if the vampire doesn't like spicy foods, though?
20Hmmm..then that would give me a chance to get all " Buffy the Vampire Slayer " on his ass...LMAO!
21Yep, use it on almost everything!! Great on a hot dog, chili beef with rice, etc. YUM!
22I put this stuff on breakfast things, like omelets and breakfast potatoes.
23OMGosh!!!! This is THE BEST stuff!!! I buy 2 or 3 bottles @ a time! It's good on everything (almost!). An Asian friend introduced me to it about 14 years ago & used it on stir fry...but I very soon found MANY things it was good on. One of my fav's is scrambled eggs on a multigrain tortilla for breakfast! Try it!! (You can add a tiny bit of sharp cheddar cheese, if you like.)
24This has totally replaced my red pepper flakes. I use it in anything and everything that needs a "kick."
